Mahi Kāinga

Each tamaiti is issued with mahi kāinga with activities to complete each week. The most useful homework of all however is positive learning with you, their whānau at home. This could include:

  • Shared reading stories with Mum, Dad, Nan or Koro

  • The kinds of imaginative play that comes naturally to children

  • Family games, activities and hobbies

  • Outings to all kinds of places of social, historical, cultural or natural interest
